Single chamber BEC apparatus with good optical access

I will introduce details of the recent BEC setup at the Institute of Physics, which creates 1x10^5 atoms of pure BEC after 30s of evaporative cooling. With a single chamber design, the system has good optical access for 2D optical lattice, which we will use to study properties of 1D degenerate quantum gas.
